Each year Secret World receives a greater number of enquiries and wildlife casualties. To maintain this vital work, funding needs to be not only maintained, but increased. In order to expand our ability to fund raise, develop facilities and our provision of care for the many wildlife casualties admitted through out the year, we are looking for new fundraising volunteers.
The community champion role does not require a regular weekly commitment like other roles. It is a flexible role, whereby people take responsibility for sourcing outlets for collection boxes, such as shops and meeting places in their local area and occasionally replacing them when the boxes are full and delivering them to the centre at a time convenient to you.
Another important aspect of this role, is advertising our events and activities. This is acheived by putting up posters and putting out leaflets in the area you oversee, every few months.
If this is an activity which suits your availability, please do contact us if you have any questions on 01278 768704 (direct to volunteering) or 01278 768701 (direct to fundraising).
