A great opportunity for families who home educate to learn about British wildlife and the environment, to meet new friends and have fun!

Each 2 hour session will give children and their parents the chance to find out more about our native wildlife, play games, make crafts and take part in outdoor activities.   £6 per child, £4 for additional siblings.   Best suited to children aged 5-11 years old.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.   As part of the session we will be outside, please bring warm and waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear.   Please note: Although our sessions will…

Wildlife Rehabilitation and Release

This wildlife course will focus on the eventual release of a wildlife casualty after it has been treated, which is sometimes not considered well enough by wildlife rehabilitators.  The course, led by SWWR’s release co-ordinator and rehabilitation section leader  (Founder SWWR), looks at pre-release assessment, release criteria and other factors such as seasonality and weather conditions.   Finding suitable release sites for rehabilitated wildlife is one of the major challenges we face at Secret World Wildlife Rescue (SWWR) and involves surveying…

Inspire your little ones’ love for nature and wildlife during our regular toddler group.
