Wild Academy is our kids’ holiday club so look out for our events on the website during half-term and school holidays.

Wild Academy workshops are perfect for children to get outdoors and explore nature in a very interactive and hands-on way. Each 2-hour workshop will focus on wildlife, the environment, nature and habitats, explored through games, crafts, experiments, stories and outdoor activities. Children will discover what they can do to protect our wildlife and the habitats they live in.

This Easter holiday 2018 our Wild Academy workshops will include:

  • Spring Babies, 27th March 10am-12noon
  • Nature Detectives, 28th March 10am-12noon
  • Extraordinary Eggs, 4th April 10am-12noon
  • Rabbits and Crafty Foxes, 5th April 10am-12noon

Have a wild time during your next school holiday and join us in one of our Wild Academy workshops.

Spring Babies
Tuesday 27th March, 10-12noon
£6 per child
In spring, we look after lots of baby orphaned animals, from otter cubs to tiny hedgehogs.  Discover how we look after our youngest casualties, and find out how animal babies differ, through games, crafts, outdoor activities and video footage.

Nature Detectives
Wednesday 28th March, 10-12noon
£6 per child
What signs do animals leave behind?  During this session we’ll be investigating footprints, tracks and droppings, as well as making hides to watch local wildlife.  They’ll be plenty of games and outdoor activities to keep even the most enthusiastic adventurers entertained.
