To support our vision to prevent British wildlife suffering needlessly and inspire in everyone an understanding and love of wildlife and the countryside, we engage children and the public in learning about British wildlife, helping them to reconnect with nature and encourage protection of its heritage.
Wild Academy is our holiday club so look out for our events on the website during half-terms and school holidays.
Wild Academy workshops are perfect for children to get outdoors and explore nature in a very interactive and hands-on way. Each 2-hour workshop has a theme to explore and children will discover what they can do to protect our wildlife and the habitats they live in.
Topics focusing on wildlife, the environment, nature and habitats are explored through games, crafts, experiments, stories and outdoor activities.
Our Wild Academy workshops can include:
- Animal Detectives
- Poo Party
- Wildlife Rescue Rangers
- The Circle of Life
- Wildlife Warriors
Have a wild time during your next school holiday and join us in one of our Wild Academy workshops.
