Are you ready to apply and share your professional skills in a rewarding voluntary capacity?

Secret World Wildlife Rescue is a registered charity that rescues, rehabilitates and releases Britain’s orphaned, injured and sick wildlife. It is a unique service in the South West and helps over 5,000 casualties every year from its base near Highbridge, Somerset.

Secret World Wildlife Rescue is a modern, professional charity that delivers a high standard of animal care, a unique educational offering and shares its expertise with other care professionals. The last few years have put in place the cornerstones of good governance at every level of the charity, so the next few years can be about extending the reach and the impact of the Secret World Wildlife Rescue brand.

The Charity is undergoing structural change to professionalize and set operational and financial strategies. We have recently opened our new Wildlife Treatment Centre following a successful capital appeal, and the next stage of the charity’s development will be the refurbishment of its rehabilitation facilities.

Whilst broad business and management skills are welcome, we are particularly interested to hear from those with a substantial track record in legal, accountancy or HR, who may wish to use this opportunity as a means of further personal and professional development.

If you want to add working as a Charity Trustee to your professional portfolio and help deliver an inspirational rescue and rehabilitation service for British wildlife, this could be for you. Secret World Wildlife Rescue has huge potential…let’s turn that into a reality.

To find out more about the roles and requirements please contact the trustees at the following address. To apply to become a Trustee and Director of the incorporated charity please submit your CV together with a short supporting statement to trustees@secretworld.org.
