Home Educators: Nocturnal Animals – Fully Booked
A great opportunity for families who home educate to learn about British wildlife and the environment, to meet new friends and have fun!
Each 2 hour session will give children and their parents the chance to find out more about our native wildlife, play games, make crafts and take part in outdoor activities. £6 per child, £4 for additional siblings. Introduction to wildlife rescue and rehabilitation.
This wildlife course is for people wishing to know more about wildlife rescue and rehabilitation and introduce them to some of the methods we use at Secret World Wildlife Rescue (SWWR). This course also forms the basis and introduction to the SWWR Certificate in Wildlife Rehabilitation and Release. Inspire your little ones’ love for nature and wildlife during our regular toddler group.
Owlets sessions are fun and interactive, and will encourage 2-4 year olds to learn about the natural environment through stories, games, outdoor activities, crafts, and play. Join us during term time on the second and forth Wednesdays of each month, 10-11.30am. £6 per child. Younger siblings are also welcome free of charge. Assessment and First Aid in Wildlife Casualties
This wildlife course, led by lecturer Liz Mullineaux (Scientific Advisor and veterinary surgeon SWWR), will discuss how to assess and examine rescued animals at admission, as we do here at Secret World Wildlife Rescue (SWWR). This course is for people who have already attended SWWR’s Introduction to wildlife rehabilitation and release course (Wildlife Course 1).
