FREE ENTRY (Donations welcome)

Journey into a secret world this Easter with our 2 day event.

Fun-packed days of family games and activities, including animal talks, music, market stalls, hot food and drinks and bird of prey encounters.

Come and see our resident Foxes, Badgers and life long friends Polly the Red Deer and Emu.

Take part in a woodland themed Easter egg hunt, paint your own pixie door and make a magic potion.

Please note:

We look forward to welcoming you to Secret World Wildlife Rescue for one of our event days. On these occasions you will have the opportunity to learn about our rehabilitation and release work from our animal carers through a variety of interactive talks. Visitors will also be able to see our resident badgers, foxes, birds of prey and long-time friends Polly the red deer and Emu.

In recent years we have tried very hard to make Secret World a leading voice in wildlife rehabilitation and this means that we endeavour to follow best practice at all times. Both our Zoo Licence (a legal requirement) and the British Veterinary Zoological Society (BVZS) ‘Good practice Guidelines for Wildlife Centres’ (which our staff contributed to) prohibit the display of animals to the public that are going back to the wild. This means that we are not able to display any wild animals directly anymore, including the baby animals, in the way we have done in the past. This is in order to give the animals the best possible chance of a successful release back to the wild. We will however, make best use of remote cameras on open days and going forwards these will be a key feature of our new wildlife treatment centre.
