runWould you like to get fit and raise essential funds for Secret World Wildlife Rescue?

Secret World Wildlife Rescue relies on fundraising in order to keep our doors open and by participating in a running event and crossing that finish line you will have helped towards the rescue, rehabilitation and eventual release of orphaned and injured wild creatures.

We would like to thank all of our supporters who have 'Run for Wildlife' in 2011!

The Bristol Half Marathon - Sunday 30th September 2012

The Bristol Half Marathon was first held in 1989. Then, only 1000 runners took part. Since then the race has grown every year with now 20,000 taking part annually. As well as amateur runners the Bristol Half Marathon attracts big names such as Paula Radcliffe.

Bristol Half Marathon Route
The Bristol Half Marathon route is a flat, point-to-point loop, which means runners at the front won't need to lap slower participants. It passes through many of the most scenic parts of Bristol, including the Avon Gorge, past the Floating Harbour and along the side of Castle Park. To reduce congestion there is 2-wave start and the route is designed to spread runners out early in the race.   To register your place please click here
