WHY LEAVE A LEGACY TO THE BLUEBELL SETT ?
The Bluebell Sett is a small charity and we rely heavily on donations
to carry out our vital work. Our charity has three main aims :
- The rescue and rehabilitation of injured or distressed wildlife
(badgers, foxes, bats, deer, birds...) and their return to the wild.
- To spread the message about the value of wildlife to our society.
- To add to the still very limited store of knowledge about wildlife
illnesses and their treatment, which is desperately needed by vets
and wildlife carers.
Please help the Bluebell Sett continue its work caring for the numerous
wild animals and birds which are brought to our Centre each year.
The Bluebell Sett Charity was founded in 1992 by Pauline Kidner, who
is well known for her wildlife care. It is now run almost entirely by
volunteers, though most of the care work is undertaken, by professional
staff. The aim of our rescue and rehabilitation work is always to return
the animals to the wild wherever possible.
As well as caring for each individual; we feel there is also a responsibility
to the returning population and all animals released back to 'the wild
should be healthy and viable. We do not believe that, wild born animals,
which are unable to return to the wild, adapt very well to captivity
and, unfortunately, euthanasia has to be carried out when it is considered
that they would suffer too much in a captive environment.
There is always a continual need for medicines, as well as improved
facilities and better equipment ,for the ever increasing numbers of
sick and injured animals brought to us.
Bluebell Sett members give talks and organise wildlife first-aid courses
for organisations and schools. It is only through education that the
suffering of animals will be reduced and their habitat Protected for
future generations to enjoy.
Our Clinical Studies Group gathers and distributes information on
wildlife diseases and their treatment to vets and wildlife carers.
We desperately need your help to ensure our valuable work can continue.
By including us in your will, you can make sure that our British Wildlife
will continue to be cared for in years to come.

HOW TO INCLUDE THE BLUEBELL SETT IN YOUR WILL.
You should ideally consult a Solicitor if you intend to make or change
a Will. This ensures that it is legally correct and will stand up in
law.
If you already have a will and would like to leave a legacy to the
Bluebell Sett, you can add a short section called a Codicil. You should
consult a Solicitor about this.
There are three types of legacy you can leave and in this leaflet,
we show you the wording for each of these which you can use to leave
a bequest to the Bluebell Sett.
If you would like to know more about the Bluebell Sett, or need to
discuss details regarding a legacy, please contact us at:-
