Secret World's annual Auction & Ball was held on November 18th and was a roaring success. Although the final figure is yet to be confirmed, it is estimated that somewhere in the region of £12,000 was raised for Secret World.

TV celebrity and Secret World Patron, Tony Head, surprised ball-goers by appearing at the start of the evening dressed as the Phantom of the Opera and helped raise funds by posing for photographs if small donations were made to Secret World.

The entertainment for the night included harpist Elizabeth Baldry, DJ Jeff Talbot and vocalist Tim Bonser, all sponsored by Affordable Tractors of Bristol.

Over £4000 was raised in the main auction, and big thanks must go to the following companies for sponsoring auction lots

Gould & Swayne Solicitors
Noise Check Acoustics Testing
Close Resource Management

Thanks must also go to Vintage Wheels for supplying a vintage car for the evening to Jimas Printing for printing off the programmes.

Next year's theme is '1940's - The War Years' and will be on November 17th 2007. This year's ball did sell out in record time, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
