Wildlife Rescue and Rehab - A Practical Approach

The following dates are now available for the above Secret World Wildlife Rescue training course:

Saturday 6^th October (10am – 4pm) - places available

Sunday 25^th November (10am – 4pm) - places available

The course will include:

• Introduction
• Initial wildlife capture and care including: handling, restraint and basic first aid
• Rescues
• Feeding
• Nutrition
• Common conditions and illnesses
• Orphan rearing

Places cost £45 but please note that numbers are limited so please book in advance to secure your place. Please note that you must be 15 years of age or over to book a place.

Students are requested to bring packed lunches with them. Tea, Coffee, cold drinks and biscuits will be available.

We appreciate that many people attending may already be involved with wildlife care and rehabilitation. We welcome input throughout the day, especially at the discussion times, for alternative ideas. There is no right or wrong way of doing things - we just tell you what works for us !

We offer courses throughout the year. The courses are held at the Centre and can only be attended if booked in advance. The cost of each course is inclusive of tea and coffee throughout the day but does not include lunch. Those attending the course will have a chance to look around during their break.
