Walk on the Wild Side!

What better way to raise funds for wildlife than to take a lovely sponsored stroll in the countryside.  Choose from Secret World's coastal Brean14 walk or set up a Wild Walk at a time to suit you with friends or in quiet solitude.

The Wild Walk

First decide where you want to walk.  We have a selection of walk maps ready for you, across 7 counties of the South West.  They range from kiddie friendly 1.5 miles to the slightly more challenging but still ultra realistic 7 miles!  We'll also send you some wildlife information to help make your day more rewarding.  So whether you're looking at walks around Bristol and Bath, strolls over the Strawberry Line in Somerset, a lung-opening Mendip meander or exploring the lovely Cotswolds and hidden Wiltshire treasures...this is the one for you.  Don't forget to pack the picnic or look up that old English pub for a well-earned lunch.  Sounds like a great day out to us!  You can request your fundraising pack by completing the form below or email

'The Brean14' Sunday 28th October 2012

Join us for the ‘Brean14’– an exciting sponsored walk, run or cycle ride along the magnificent sweep of sand stretching from the holiday villages of Berrow and Brean to the seaside resort of Burnham-On-Sea. Those wishing to take on the full challenge will head off from Brean leisure park and continue to the half way point – the “Lighthouse on Legs” – a distinctive landmark built in 1832.  You will be cheered on by our check point marshalls as you circle the lighthouse and retrace your steps back towards Brean and cross the finishing line knowing that you have helped injured and orphaned wildlife.  A shorter 4 mile Fun Walk is also available.  Why not take part in your favourite Halloween fancy dress and our judges will be on hand to award prizes to the best costumes!
