Don’t miss the final Secret World Open Weekend of 2009. Celebrating all that is great about British Wildlife, and the work that Secret World does rescuing and rehabilitating, this is a ‘not to be missed’ chance!

Animals that you might see if you visit include foxes, badgers, owls, hawks, swans, goats, bats, hedgehogs, baby birds (and more), and there is plenty to keep you entertained including a climbing wall, craft stalls and ferret racing!

We do not charge an admission, we just ask for a donation to Secret World.

Secret World’s Animal Antics Open Weekend is open 10am to 4pm, Saturday 29th, Sunday 30th and Monday 31st August.

Don't miss the miniature ponies!

Secret World again opens it’s doors this weekend (25th & 26th July) for it’s Hedgehog & Tortoise Event. As well as all the usual things to see and do, including wildlife talks, ferret racing, local crafts and much more, we will also be joined by some minature shetland ponies, some other, slightly larger ponies, for riding, as well the Chelnia Group who will be bring Eric the Giant Sulcata Tortoise.

Doors are open 10am to 4pm, Saturday and Sunday; we do not charge an admission, we just ask that a donation is made to the charity.

Don't miss this fun day at Secret World Wildlife Rescue

Secret World is hosting a Green Balloon Club Day on Saturday 25th July. Coinciding with our Hedgehog and Tortoise Open Weekend, this event is being run in conjunction with CBEEBIES and is an activity day for the whole family.

You’ll be able to make a bird feeder, discover a nature trail,  make a Bumblebee Hotel and much much more! And if that wasn’t enough, you’ll be able to take in everything else that has been planned for Secret World’s Hedgehog and Tortoise Weekend, including meeting Eric the giant Sulcata Tortoise, an exciting visit by some miniature ponies, ferret racing, pony rides and a whole lot more!

The  Green Balloon Day is on Saturday 25th July, 10am to 4pm, and the rest of the Open Weekend will be open on both the 25th and 26th July, 10am to 4pm. We do not charge an admission, just ask that you make a donation to the charity.
