Would you like to get fit in 2010 and raise essential funds for Secret World Wildlife Rescue? Secret World Wildlife Rescue relies on fundraising in order to keep our doors open and by participating in a running event and crossing that finish line you will have helped towards the rescue, rehabilitation and eventual release of orphaned and injured wild creatures.
Bristol Half Marathon – Sunday 5 September 2010
This year the Bristol half marathon will be staged on the same weekend as the city’s popular International Kite Festival. The two events will be working together to ensure that residents, participants and visitors are able to enjoy a weekend of top class events. With over 16,000 entries last year, the race is one of the largest and most popular half marathons in the country. For events taking place in your local area please visit the Runners World website where you can choose from a variety of different runs. You can enter many events online and set yourself whatever challenge suits from a 5K amble to a full marathon. Whatever challenge you choose, we would love to hear from you so we can help you ‘Run for Wildlife’.
